Glamour Days, which is in the heart of Hobart CBD, is being offered up for sale. It specialises in quality new and preloved clothing and accessories. Buying this business also helps apply for business migration to Australia.
The business model used is that of selling on consignment. Customers bring their quality clothes or accessories; we determine whether the items are suitable for our shop. We agree a price and when the item is sold, we pay the customer a commission. If after 3 months the item is not sold, we request the customer collect the item. If not collected within 2 weeks, we donate the item to Dressed For Success a not for profit organisation that empowers women to enter or progress in the workforce.
This business model takes the stress away from buying stock. We have a strong following and the shop is frequented by buyers from Hobart, Tasmania and interstate travellers.
Our products are unique as we only take quality items that are new or have been barely worn. Still, some of our items are over 50 years old, but may still meet our criteria. The stock in the shop will be passed on to the new owner.
