After 35 years of ongoing business, the Weatherall family have made the decision to place Yandilla Mustard Oil Enterprise on the market.
Micky and Kaye Weatherall started the business in 1985 by importing oil milling machinery from India and using special varieties of mustard seed as developed by the CSIRO.
Yandilla holds exclusive world wide with the CSIRO for the use of the special seed varieties as developed by the CSIRO.
Yandilla was first in the world to produce erucic acid free mustard oil which made it suitable for human consumption sales in the USA and Europe.
Yandilla mustard oil received a Bronze medal at the Fine Food Fair in New York, amongst many other awards over the years.
The business can be purchased as a stand alone or together with the existing property on approximately 9 acres near Wallendbeen NSW.
Sales, including export sales, have been steadily increasing over the past few years to the point where the business is outgrowing the Weatherall family’s capacity to manage.
The property has a dedicated “Tea House’ which catered for drop in customers and Tour groups prior to Covid.
