A $150 Million dollar Bay Island Resort is proposed to be developed on beautiful Russell Island and what's more, it is only 50 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. A 245 apartment resort spread across two locations and 30 acres is planned for development on this terrific island getaway. This proposal is in the final stages of approval. Once approved, construction is expected to be completed within three years.
Progress on island developements:
1.Swimming Pool - Construction is almost complete. Redland Shire Council expect the pool to be completed by the last week of January 2008 (weather permitting)
