I have a grain property at Warra which for the last 5 years has earned from neighbour share-farming, (and me doing nothing except use the house as a week-ender) well above what the cash value would earn in bank interest after inflation.(If you farmed it yourself, the gross would be over $72,500- average annually). There are 250 ac. of mostly brigalow/titree black soil cultivation.
There are several good creek water holes, and room for fish farming but also the Nathan Dam pipeline is approved, to come right to the front gate. The property abuts town allotments so access to this water would help. BUT coming with this FREE is also is a house to live in (or rent) with all necessary facilities, plus sheds and enjoyment of a creekside 70 acres for a couple of horses for the children, or a few stud cattle, fishing, swimming and enjoyment of nature.
It is just a walk to the school, and three population centres with hospitals are less than 30 minutes away. Due to family circumstances, I will need to sell this. There has been an offer to lease (instead of sharfarming), which would give the lessee use of the house and machinery, and no need for the owner to do anything. Mapping co-ordinates for the middle of the property are : 26-55’10.13”S 150-55’26.10”E.
