If you are looking for a complete life style change then this may be your dream. We started from scratch 4 years ago in Lockington (approx. 20mins out of the tourist destination of Echuca) and had to expand into the current premises just 2 years on. There is no 2nd hand furniture store of our size for over 80 Klms ie: Bendigo. Since our beginning we have sent furniture all around Victorian areas as well as interstate. We service Echuca with a population of 12,000 people. We often have bus groups pass through looking at our town as we have a local historical centre that draws many groups. Our store is in a big tin shed which alone draws interest. It is 18m x 18m with extension awning to the side complete with evaporative a/c and wood heater. Our home is a 3 bedroom weatherboard home and there are 2 additional vacant blocks within all on 4 titles. Established fruit trees and a large shade tree compliment the package. There are a lot of opportunities to use the additional 2 blocks for other businesses as well as further expansion if necessary to the current business as this has room for growth and the town would welcome more growth also. The township of Lockington is a very proud town boasting in it's volunteers and community groups. All the services are here with school (prep - 6), bush nursing centre with doctors and other services available, preschool, local supermarket, hardware, post, library, pub, fuel, community house, op shop, take away, coffee shop, hair dresser, etc. Sporting facilities include tennis, football, basketball, cricket, swimming pool and only 25mins to the Murray River for fishing, skiing and boating.
